Cedron herb or (Simaba cedron) is a tender tree of Central America and northern South America. The tree reaches from 20 to 50 feet in height with a spread of 10 to 30 feet.  The leaves can extend up 3 feet long and are divided into leaflets.  The flowers offer a gentle fragrance with 5 dark yellow to gold petals. The  one-seeded fruits are ovoid and their seeds give off a coconut-like aroma

Cedron invigorates the entire body and has been used for poisonous bites, malaria, stomach, fevers, spasms and nervous system. Make a tea and apply to bite if bitten by poisonous snake or insect. Apply tea frequently by moistening a clean cloth and applying to bite area. Make tea with one ounce of herb to one pint of boiling water. Also take tea internally up to  tablespoon four times a day.
